Jake Gyllanhaal : Nearly Naked on Viagra!?

It's a no-brainer in the casting department really: Let's reunite Brokeback Mountain Co-stars (and two of the GAYEST straight people around) Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllanhaal in the fictionalized film adaptation of the non-fiction book The Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman now retitled Love and other Drugs, with less double entendre and an emphasis on the non-lesbian L-Word. They have incredible chemistry and both have startling comedic timing for (usually) dramatic actors.

Maggie (Hathaway) is an alluring free spirit who won’t let anyone – or anything – tie her down. But she meets her match in Jamie (Gyllenhaal), whose relentless and nearly infallible charm serve him well with the ladies and in the cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie’s evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love.

What's more noteworthy than that incredibly trite descriptor and the pretty formulaic structure of the film--which still looks delightful regardless of predictability--is the way the film has suddenly gained a major push amongst women (and gay men) with the circulation of a VERY hot photo of Jake Gyllanhaal getting oh-so-naked. Some claim the shot is photo-shopped, but I think it's a deflection by the studio because it's a remarkable job if it is a fake. Even Gyllanhaal was quoted as stating, "No comment," when asked about the photo. Hmm... See the trailer and the pic after the jump.
