Placebo will release their third single "Bright Lights" from their sit studio album Battle for The Sun in January 2010. Placebo have always been a favorite of mine, and while I admit this is not exactly my favorite album this is a great tune recalling both Muse and Juliana Hatfield at the same time. By no means was Battle for the Sun, a poorly made album, but perhaps to this reviewer at least it lacked the emotional heft and punch of Meds, arguably their best work since (if not surpassing) their masterpiece of depression rock Without You I'm Nothing.
