Ricky (2010-USA) dir. François Ozon
Brilliant french auteur François Ozon (8 Women, Sitcom, 5x2, Swimming Pool, Time to Leave) returns states side with a new film (whatever happened to his film Angel? Totally disappeared from North America) with Ricky, a surreal fable sure to intrigue and provoke in equal measure like all of is previous films have. Check out the trailer (and more surprises) after the jump.
I've been a fan of his work for some time (if you haven't seen his short film collection The Curtain Raiser you really must!!!) but I always forget what he looks like physically until I write a piece on one of his films then I'm suddenly bombarded with photos of what a total fox the openly gay François Ozon is. Talented and sexy- C'est la vie, n'est pas?
as a bonus treat here is his delightfully offbeat ode to the end of the millennium-morning after X 2000
