I grew up near the ocean and, as such a childhood often brings, I have a deep-seated love of any sort of marine biology news. Especially weird new species. The so-called mimic octopus is truly a master of disguise, and more than a little disturbing. It changes shape, color, even it's movement and behavior to mimic various other (mostly poisonous) sea creatures. Check out it's eerie brilliance after the jump.
