Former porn actor (and one of my absolute favorites to boot!) turn writer Aiden Shaw Has a new memoir on the way Sordid Truths: Selling My Innocence for a Taste of Stardom detailing his early life and continuation of the psychological explorations in his stellar My Undoing The soft spoken, smoking hot brit writes as well as he fucks. Aiden Shaw is one of the best examples of the crossover potential now afforded to adult film actors, especial gay men, whom often have had their careers threatened by a porno past. It's a break through that challenges the sexual McCarthyism that has plagued America since it's inception. While I'm sure Shaw has a much larger following in Europe than in the states it's great to see someone be unapologetic about their sexual appetites, activities and that fact that they are a sexual being but that doesn't mean that's all they are. THe Idolization and objectification of the body inherit in Pornography does not have to be exclusively reductive and can infect on occasion be a spring board for other aspects of life. Here he is talking with his publisher about his "biggest asset" his love of smaller guys and the obsession with large cocks today.
