Here is our first look at The Smurfs which I feel pretty certainly will be the desecration of a beloved childhood Saturday morning staple. A brad new Live action/CGI (probably 3D) film directed by Raja Gosnell (Beverly Hills Chihuahua , Scooby-Doo 1 & 2, Never Been Kissed). I loved the Smurfs growing up, it was an odd fairy tale that went well with my breakfast on Saturday mornings. I want to hate this film on it's very concept, but well... It looks like a Smurf at least. The tag line however is totally lazy.
